Moldova Stem Cell Workshop: Stromal Vascular Fraction (SVF) and Bone Marrow-Derived Cellular Therapies
As part of the Moldova Stem Cell Workshop, which we supported as STR Biotechnologies, scientific and practical training was conducted on stromal vascular fraction (SVF) and bone marrow-derived cellular therapy applications in patients with osteoarthritis and femoral head avascular necrosis (femoral necrosis). During the program, current scientific data and clinical experiences were shared regarding patient selection, cell harvesting processes, preparation protocols, and application techniques of intraarticular cellular therapy approaches.
SVF and bone marrow-derived cellular therapies, which are gaining increasing importance in the field of regenerative medicine, are among the innovative biological treatment options in the management of osteoarthritis and femoral necrosis due to their potential for modulating inflammation, supporting tissue homeostasis, and improving joint function. The intraarticular applications carried out within the scope of the workshop provided participants with a comprehensive training experience on the integration of cellular therapies into clinical practice.
